The lodge stood empty until lockdown in March 2020 when we were all at home and decided to refurbish it into holiday accommodation. We cleared barrowfulls of seriously stubborn, giant weeds, made paths, built fences, painted the lodge inside and out, dredged the pond, built a "camp" kitchen, made curtains and even made a kimono from scraps of vintage fabric given to us courtesy of HUME Vintage.
